UFS 111- 3rd Reflection

Machu Picchu was built around 1450, at the height of Inca Empire. It was situated on a mountain ridge about the Urubamba valley in Peru, which is about 80 km northwest of Cusco and through which the Urubamba River flow. Often referred to as the "Lost City of the Incas", it is perhaps the most familiar icon of the Inca world. Chichen Itza is a large pre-columbian archeological site built by the Mayan civilization located in the northern centre of the Yucatan Peninsula, in the Municipality of Tinum, Yucatan State, present day Mexico.
There are five similarity between  Machu Picchu and Chichen Itza. Both of this city is lost city that abandoned by the people. Machu Picchu it was abandoned city just over 100 years later, in 1572.  It is possible that most of it is population died from smallpox introduced by travelers before the Spanish conquistadors arrived in the area. There evidence suggests that Chichen Itza was abandoned by the Mayans in the tenth century. The abandonment has not yet fully explained because the Mayan returned to and settled the cities around 1000 AD. There some evidence that both of this city was colonized by the Spanish. The third similar of this two city are the City contain stone building in various state of preservation. In Chichen Itza, the site contain five stone building are connected by dense network of formerly, called sacbeob. There almost 100 sacbeob criss-crossing the site, and extending in all direction from the city. Machu Picchu, the Incas were masters of this technique, called ashlar, in which block of stone are cut to fit together tightly without mortar. Both this city has temple, in Chichen Itza the temple still exist is the Temple of the Sun and Temple of the Sun in Machu Picchu. They have a sacred religious site. This theory stands mainly because of where Machu Picchu located. Reinhard calls it ‘sacred geography’ because the site of building on and around the mountain that holding high religious important in the Inca culture. There are two large, natural sink holes, called cenotes, this could have provided plentiful water year at Chichen Itza. There two cenotes, the “Cenote Sagrado” known as the Sacred Well or Well sacrifice. Beside the similarities, there are the differences between this two greatest City. The difference is the location of the city. Machu Picchu is located in modern-day Peru high in the Andes Mountains, almost two-and-a-half kilometers above sea level. In Chichen Itza, Mayan civilization spread from their origin on the Yucatan Peninsula to the rain forests of Mexico eastward and the other surrounding countries. The ruins of Machu Picchu are divided into two main sections known as the Urban and Agricultural Sectors, divided by a wall. The Agricultural Sector is further subdivided into upper and lower sectors, while the Urban Sector is split into East and West sectors, separated by wide plazas. The buildings of Chichen Itza are grouped in a series architectonic set, and each set was at one time separated from other by a series of low walls.
The conclusion, both of this two City are the Greatest City in the world. For my favorite city, I will choose Machu Picchu as my destination for vacation because of location rich with flora and fauna.  It was built in the classical Inca style, with polished dry-stone wall. For me it was unique and many possess valuable as a culture, a unique historic building, and is the greatest city in the world.

UFS 111 (Reading Vocabulary & Grammar 2) - 1st Reflection Topic

PDA or Public Display Affection is act of physical intimacy in the view of other. Display affection in a public place, such as street is more likely objected to, than similar practices in a private place only people from similar cultural background present. This display affection also can give bad effect to different culture and religious. Public displays of affection can range anywhere from a whisper to a shout, from a touch of hands to a touch of somewhere else. On the other hand, PDA has also been discussed in adult circles, among married couples. PDA is analyzed as a peak into the inner contentment or conflicts in a relationship.
Love, it is very commonly word for us. Some people say, we cannot live without love. For me it is true because love make we believe, honest, trustworthiness, and loyalty. Love is a feeling that we can’t describe, it is something you can only feel and believe. Love is not is not actually many people actually experience but for the few who actually find out and feel what love really is that have something that the most people don’t know or understand. Love can be expressed in many ways. Love is a subjective like we love our God, parents, friends, someone that we deeply care for him or her. Love comes to many people, does not care where you comes from, who you are, how old are you, it just come and human can feel it. For me as a Muslim, the greatest love is the love of ALLAH SWT (Subhana Wa Taala ), praised to be Him.  This love makes you avoid committing sins in order not to make whom you love, ALLAH , get angry with you. This love also urges you to contemplate all the different aspect of nature that usually leads you to have a deeper faith in the Creator who created all this beauty round us. The second type love is the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW (sal-lal-lahu alai hi wa sallam). This love make you follow example the Holy prophet Muhammad SAW.  The third type of love is human love. It means that the Muslim has to love his other fellow men regardless of their ethnic, linguistic or cultural background. This includes love of neighbors, colleagues, relatives and even strangers. This type of love persuades the Muslim to help anybody whenever he can and the fourth type of love is the love between a man and a woman, but Islam organizes and regulates these lofty feelings within the framework of marriage because Islam views that marital love leads the couple to have a peaceful and happy family life, which is the core of the Muslim society.
The conclusion, love is wonderful gift to us from our God. We all just using that give to bring joyful and happiness in our life. Love is like air that can be inhaled and exhaled, we can joy feel joy without feeling hard. That the beauty of love.
